Unlike most of these reviews, my experience with Dr. Harkins was anything but positive. I saw him in 2019/2020 for endometriosis. He told me to try moving more and to eat the FODMAP diet, which I did - but neither helped. When I told him this, rather than listening or suggesting alternatives, he downplayed my feelings and acted as though what I was telling him couldn't possibly be true. Amazing doctor! Well worth the distance! I had a hysterectomy performed laparoscopically in the beginning of August and I was feeling back to myself and painless within a week. Definitely exceeded my expectations :)
Dr. Harkins gave me back my life, I was in constant pain for decades and not only did he successfully perform life-altering surgery on me, he was the kindest human as well. He called me several times to discuss the procedure and any questions I had and continues to be personally available for any questions I have post op. It’s rare when you meet a surgeon with his skills and nearly unheard of when you meet someone with the expertise and a genuinely kind and caring heart. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything!
I cannot say enough about how awesome this Dr. Is. The staff was incredible and He was truly amazing to me. He called me personally before the surgery and the day after to make sure I was doing ok. The cream of the crop to say the least. I would give him 10 stars if that were an option !
