If I could give 10 stars I would. Dr Harkins and his team have been absolutely amazing since day 1. I met him after my diagnosis and he performed my hysterectomy. I was nervous before the surgery but he was so calm and professional that I relaxed after talking to him. The day of the surgery, his team cheered me up and I went into the surgery knowing I was in good hands. My recovery was super quick. Unlike most of these reviews, my experience with Dr. Harkins was anything but positive. I saw him in 2019/2020 for endometriosis. He told me to try moving more and to eat the FODMAP diet, which I did - but neither helped. When I told him this, rather than listening or suggesting alternatives, he downplayed my feelings and acted as though what I was telling him couldn't possibly be true. Amazing doctor! Well worth the distance! I had a hysterectomy performed laparoscopically in the beginning of August and I was feeling back to myself and painless within a week. Definitely exceeded my expectations :)
Dr. Harkins gave me back my life, I was in constant pain for decades and not only did he successfully perform life-altering surgery on me, he was the kindest human as well. He called me several times to discuss the procedure and any questions I had and continues to be personally available for any questions I have post op. It’s rare when you meet a surgeon with his skills and nearly unheard of when you meet someone with the expertise and a genuinely kind and caring heart. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything!
