Stopped in on the way to Tryon. So glad I did. The nachos and the potato skins were awesome...best I've ever had!!
Great Apple martinis, fried shrimp, bacon cheeseburgers, honey child ... But save room for the fried cheesecake.
Personally, I love the place! Even go there on my day off and eat, drink, and visit.
Atmosphere is warm and friendly. I'm sorry to say I have not been impressed with the food. Portions vary, food is greasy and over cooked. I found the prices to be above average and was not impressed overall.
The food is good the atmosphere is great and the regulars are awesome, wish I could be more regular! Appreciate the integrity of the staff, they corrected my arithmetic even though the error was in their favor.

We used to come here a lot, but for some reason the food hasn't been as good for the past year or so. I miss the cherry pie, and the burger used to be better (better bun).
We had the best BLT (applewood bacon was the best ever) and wonderful warm blueberry bread pudding with bourbon lemon sauce. What a great meal! And Farrell was on outstanding server! We can't wait to get back up there. We have heard that the ribs are also great.
