We have been several times, the food & service has been excellent, every time, will definitely be going back!
Mushrooms for appetizers were spot on! My fish and chips were fresh and would reorder them again!
The food was delicious and our waitress was Fantastic!
Excellent !!! A+. Chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes both covered with gravy green beans and a crispy buttermilk biscuit. Without a doubt the best food I’ve ever eaten.

I participated in a motorcycle ride through SC and into Western North Carolina. We stopped as a group and were seated in the porch area. The staff was very friendly and the food was served quickly. The food was cooked as requested and was delicious! The restaurant was packed with customers during lunch but all customers seemed very satisfied. Second time here. The honey child is a great twist to a chicken salad sandwich. The flounder filets for the fish and chips were fried perfectly and when my boyfriend squeezed lemon on top it really set the fish off. Great wait staff as well � thanks guys.
My mom works there
I think it was our favorite on our trip. The appetizer with the shrimp and apricot sauce was to die for. I had the “Honey child” chicken salad sandwich for lunch and it was bomb as well. Cute town, cute restaurant, good food, good service! I would give 5 stars to a 5 star restaurant. I could eat there often but we were just visiting
