RecommendedI have been coming to The Hare and the Hound for years!! My Granddaughter and I started coming when she was 8 years old and she is now 13! We love the food!! Especially the classic cheeseburger with the cheddar cheese! We love everything we have ever tried! We love the service, atmosphere, the hours, everything !!!
The Hare and the Hound is our favorite little getaway. It's very family friendly and romantic enough for date night.
Went here for our Wednesday date night for the first time. Everything we ordered was very delicious. We will definitely be going back again. If you haven't tried it here you have to go. Staff very friendly and nice.

I had the scored flounder. It was great. The veggies could have used more seasonings. The lady that came in and started playing music made the whole evening worth the trip from Asheville. 4 1/2 stars...

I’ve been to the Hare and Hound many times and the food is always great. Today was no exception. The food and service were excellent. The honey child chicken salad sandwich is amazing and taste excellent every time.
Just wish the pickle didn’t touch the fries. My granddaughter wouldn’t eat them. Almost didn’t eat her grilled cheese for the same reason. Isolate the pickle.
