Purchased a 1 point bottle of the Virginia blackberry at a local 6 pack shop. Needless to say, it was flat. Perhaps it had something to do with the big chip in the lip of the bottle. Perhaps I would have enjoyed it under different circumstances. $12 out the window.
They know what they are doing.. Beer advocate doesn't give a 100/100 rating to a beer made by amateurs. Best beer hands down in RVA

UPDATE: Hardwood made good. Everyone makes mistakes, the good companies recognize them, admit it, and make their customers right. Thank you. Original post: Weak showing with the Gingerbread Stout Presale. Ran out half way through the sale. Let people wait in line over an hour before they told anyone that they were going to run out. For the hundreds of people still on line when they ran out, they suggested we come back the next day during the release party. No "you guys will be first in line" or "sorry".
