Recommended!!! Hardy Manor Apartments are wonderfully located on the beautiful campus of the University of Southern Mississippi. If you are looking for a community which is peaceful, well maintained and close to great shopping and restaurants, I would defiantly recommend these apartment homes to you! I have resided in quite a few Apartment Home Communities and flooring noise is actually better here than some newer communities which I have lived in. Not recommended – Eventhough I lived upstairs, the noisy flooring made it irritating to walk around for normal activities. I expect anyone below me hated my movements even more. The window in the bedroom caused all noises outside to be easily heard, especially conversations and the very early morning trash pick ups (at least you will be awake in time for Monday morning classes). I did not have the luxery of scoping out apartments before arriving, but have since not renewed my lease and found a better apartment close by.
good location, terrible noise – Hardy Manor is a great location. It is located on the west side of the University of Southern Mississippi. HOWEVER, If you're apartment is downstairs, be prepared to hear every step that your neighbor upstairs takes. Not only do you hear the footsteps from above, but also a nice squeaking screech as well. ALSO, waste management picks up the trash on each side of the apartment complex at 5:05 AM every Monday and Thursday morning so be prepared to wake up to a shotgun like sound directly outside... read more
