Used to go all the time and we stopped going because the staff was rude and the food went down hill. I went back a few weeks ago and I took my wife back last night. I am happy to report the staff is not rude anymore and the food has rebounded. Better beer selection. Bring the clam chowder back to standards and this would be a 5 star rating. Great job turning it around.
This was the time I was at Hardwood Café . The waitress was very good and done everything she could to make sure that you was happy.I ordered Chicken Stir Fry and the carrots was not cooked long enough She TriedTo microwave them and took$7.00 off the bill .That to me makes me want to go back

Everything we've tried has been amazing. The Reuben sandwich is the best in town. And the fries have a seasoning on them, incredible. Would recommend the hardwood to anyone. Versatile menu, something for all!!
Friendly staff. Food was good. Would recommend. Very clean.
Food quality suffered. "Famous cheese garlic bread" was nothing but ciabatta bun cheese and basil, the fish tacos were not good, and they messed up my wife's order. However that can be somewhat overlooked... the real killer was they had no silverware!!! Ten of us at a table and after asking three time our waitress couldn't find more than two wraps of utensils. Terrible experience all the way around. Won't go back.
