I have recently ordered from this company and I am extremely pleased with the service. Their products are exceptional. The service is great - beyond belief. I have contacted them by mail and they responded in a very timely manner. I have ordered items which came properly wrapped and on time even with Covid. From my business experience with them, I can safely say they are very professional in taking care of their customers. I would strongly recommend this company to anyone.
I purchased some caulking from these folks and I unfortunately ordered the wrong color; however, the would only take one of the cases back. Problem is that they did not refund my shipping and they also asked me to pay full shipping to send it back. All I asked them was to at least credit 1/2 of the shipping that they charged me since I sent them one of the cases back. They unfortunately did not! I recently received 4 cans of pain which all cans were pushed in on the sides. The box was in perfect shape after delivery yet inside there was damage. I reached out to the company for a 75% refund. As you know the company has a restocking fee so even though damaged I would have still been out more than should be. I sent photographs in the email to give a photo view of my problem. Poor company ordered one item said would ship and arrive in 3 days... Within the hour I purchased I received a email stating my account was being audited for correct information that nedded to send in copy of some kind of bill or driver lisc... So they could speed up process... What a joke.... I canceled and bought local.. cost a little more but I believe they couldn't fufill there order in the time they stated...
Simply the best outcome for the situation. I placed an order and the delivery was made on time however what I received was not what I had ordered. My initial though was great... I got screwed. So I shot out an e-mail about my dissatisfaction and then came to this site to research reviews... To my horror the reviews were not good. My experience was no other than a delight. This company has really bad customer service. They accepted my return but when they had the item in their hands they pulled a restocking fee that according to them the manufacturer imposed. I found the receipt of the manufacturer and contacted them, the manufacturer had no information on the restocking fee. So there was nvr a restocking fee involved by the manufacturer it was the hardwareworld.com just didn’t want to refund my entire money. When confronting them about it. HERE ARE THE FACTS: Our posted return policy allows 30 days to return a purchase. For this customer, that date would have the return-by date on Jan 13th. We did not hear from the customer until past that date. His first request to return the order came 4 days AFTER the expiration date, on Jan 17th.
