Hardbat is a fantastic gym in Newark, DE. Whenever I visit families in the area, I do a few workouts with them. The coaches and regular members are always warm and welcoming. The WODs are challenging, but there are always many scaled versions for any level of crossfitters. I PRed on my deadlift again this week! Working out with Hardbat is one of my highlights in Delaware!

Hardbat Athletics is more than a gym—it’s a one-of-a-kind community. From the very first day I walked through the doors, I found so much more than just a place to get stronger. I was welcomed into a group of like-minded individuals who share a common drive to improve themselves, and it quickly became a second home for me. What sets Hardbat apart is the perfect blend of energy, purpose, and camaraderie. The coaches are not only experts in their field, but they’re also passionate learners who continue to grow and evolve to bet... read more

Group classes at Hardbat are the best part of my day! The people are kind, knowledgeable, and welcoming, and the programming is diverse and infinitely scalable so people at all fitness levels can get a great workout together! Joining this community is the best decision I made when I moved back to Newark!

I avoided doing barbell exercises such deadlifts, cleans, and front and back squats because I wasn't comfortable with the techniques and concern that I was risking injury. But at Hardbat, when you take the group classes, you get direct individualized training on ... read more
