Hard Times Cafe The chili sampler is always a good place to start for newcomers. I love the Cincinnati chili and always get the half smoke or just wings. A definitely good place to have no frills food. Service is fast and friendly too.
Quick and good. I usually don't like chili, but the vegetarian Chile is great! Nice atmosphere, quick and friendly place. I only live about 3 miles away, and at times the traffic is bad getting into the shopping center where it is located. But it is worth the effort! The price is reasonable too.
Great Chili Hard Times has a simple menu, it is all about the chili and their chili is very good. They offer a variety of chilis, served a number of different ways. You can have your chili over beans or spaghetti and they offer it on chili dogs and cheeseburgers as well. Love their Chili This place has great chili and foot long hot dogs. Try the onion rings too. They even have vegitarian chili. The place is decorated like the west and the staff friendly.
What kind of service are people expecting for a $7 bowl of chili??? Every Hard Times has the same great thing. Simple, quick, taste good. The Arlington store is no different. If you are looking for fantastic service or high quality anything you are barking up the wrong tree but if you are looking for good chili or just good cheap eats without the frills you are in the right spot. got asked to leave Service was awful. We came in around midnight, ordered a pitcher for four of us, and shots. We were told that there wasn't enough time for us to drink all of that and then the server asked us to leave. We were there for 15 minutes before she even came to our table, and then left. Their loss, I'm a good tipper.
