Pros-location, very clean rooms-the cleaner must be excellent. Cons-location, soany dodgy things about the room, water from shower drained into the centre of the bathroom, smoke alarm was at the window, broken microwave button and reverse cycle ac., blind broken, door lock just a pushbutton (not secure). Noisy, set up primarily for workers. Also has permanent residents with a resident dog -a little yappy. We found ourselves stuck in Gladstone and didn't have a car for a week. However, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Harbour Lodge. It is in walking distance to all the shops and waterfront, a short 10 minute walk to the Gladstone Harbour lookout. The rooms were spacious and had all we needed. Beds were comfortable and clean and the manager is a real gem to deal with and made the stay all the more pleasant.
