For years my 90 year old mother would talk about crab cakes she ate over 50 years ago. We are located in Ohio and I decided to try to order some crab cakes online. I ordered a dozen on Tuesday and they arrived on Wednesday. They were frozen solid and well packed. We immediately pulled 3 out for dinner and let them thaw. I live in Florida and bought these for my husband's birthday. we both grew up in Maryland and looked forward to the crabs. I ordered the feast. the crab cakes were good, the shrimp had a weird taste and we are not picky eaters. the crabs were sold as large, but they were dry, and had very little meat. the shipping was spot on and didn't sit outside as I was home when they were delivered. sadly lots of money for a disappointing dinner. oh the brownies were ok kinda like a brownie bites.
Ordered 1/2 bushel large males shipped to California for my 50th bday. Shipped them 2 day air, when they arrived at 6pm on the 2nd day, the cold packs weren’t cold anymore, but the crabs were still good. Totally worth the price to have a little bit of home in California. I will order again. 💛❤️🖤🦀💛❤️🖤
They admitted giving me reheated crabs, and the guy said they reheat crabs on weekends! Who wants that I paid for fresh crabs not crabs being recooked! If you like reheated crabs then there you go! Horrible and overpriced!!’
I ordered crabs last week and they were cold, I gave them another chance to get it right, and I ordered a dozen of their so called “Jumbos” and no they were mixed only maybe 3 decent out of 12 in size, not only were they overpriced at $109.00 this time around after I made it clear I didn’t want cold crabs like last time which they denied! This time all’s they did was give me reheated up crabs! Horrible & one big ripoff!!! Never again! Beware!!!
