About a month ago, I placed my 87 year old dad in The Veranda's Memory Care unit. Navaah is truly an amazing, caring and dedicated individual who worked with me every step of the way in placing my dad from a rehabiliation place to this wonderful facility. The 7th floor Memory Care unit is newly renovated and I am extremely pleased with the cleanliness of the floor, the attentive staff (especially Diane, Elliot and Jennifer) and Ms. Laura, the director, who knows all the residents of the floor. Finding a safe, caring place for my father with dementia was a difficult decision, but Veranda made it easier. Tamara was kind, knowledgeable, and really took the time to answer our questions during the tour. You could see she knew the residents well, and the staff had a genuine rapport with them. The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming, and the facility was clean with some newly renovated floors and nice rooms. We left feeling reassured that my father will be in good hands.
Even though my father was not ready to move into The Veranda, touring it and meeting Tamara was the highlight of it. Tamara was kind and very knowledgeable. She explained every step of the process and answered every question with a smile. The place was clean and the rooms they showed us were very nice. I know now when the time comes, Tamara will take care of us.
I’ve had the pleasure of speaking with Tamara over the phone while looking into a memory care facility for my father, and I can’t thank her enough for all her help. She was incredibly kind and patient, taking the time to answer all of my questions in detail. I never felt rushed, and she made sure I understood everything clearly. Moving a loved one into an assisted living in itself is an extremely hard decision . After touring the facility and meeting the stuff it really put my mind at ease ! I want to thank Tamara who went above and beyond to get my mother into The Veranda ! She stayed in constant communication with me during the entire process ! Even from day of drop off ! Tamara is an absolute gem and such a sweet soul ! She made me feel 100% more comfortable about my decision and she’s most definitely appreciated ! Thank You Family :)
