If I could give this horrible business a negative star rating I would. My AC went out on a Friday night. Put in a request for service with American Home Shield and was told I’d be contacted within 24 hrs to schedule service. Come to find out this “company” doesn’t have weekend hours! What AC company do you know that doesn’t have weekend hours?! Monday morning comes and no one calls me, so I call them. Oh, wait, they can’t see me for inspection until Wednesday. The owner of this company is a crook and he doesn't care. Charged for items not installed and what he did install had to be redone. Spent 3 days securing new ac unit so it didn't fall out on the floor. Works for home maintenance insurer and they wound up spending $3000 for someone else to come back out and fix what they should have done in the first place. Do NOT, I repeat Do NOT let this guy anywhere near your HVAC unit.
Terrible company. My house hasn't cooled for over 3 summer months now, May 12-August 15, and harbor point has still not fixed the problem! They have been to my house many times, if they show up that is, and performed expensive work, but I keep having problems that need additional repairs. I'm having to switch to a different company because it is August and my house is 85 degrees inside. After looking back through the work tickets for this property we have worked on 2 different units at different times both were serviced for her home warranty company. The unit Mrs ***** is talking about right now is a package unit a different system from the one we serviced originally. Very poor service came out and replace our entire a.c. unit inside after 2 1/2 hrs of work they left... That night still no a.c. called company to send someone out to fix again and look. they came and said oh its this well have someone out to fix it. so tomorrow came around and they came guy looked at outside unit here for 15mins and still no air conditioning would never EVER recommend company to anyone. if your going to do work do it right the first time this is unacceptable... Terrible. Technician had to come out twice for a freon leak, both times scheduled to come out between 12-5. Showed up at 5:30 both times. First time the technician added freon and said it would last until the leak was fixed and charged me $300. The freon ran out in less than 24 hours. It's been 2 weeks now I've been trying to get my refund back and each time I call I get a different story as to when the refund was actually put in the mail. I have a annual service contract with this company for which I pay hundreds upfront. Until this year, the performance was very good, but this year I was stood up three times for my scheduled service maintenance appointment. Each time a lady called me to schedule an appointment date and time. The first time there was a no show.
