DO NOT SEND YOUR KIDS HERE. I was in and out of this facility from 2020 to 2022. It was one of the most traumatic experiences I've had. Staff would laugh as kids fought, me and others were sprayed in the face with lysol for entertainment. I watched a poorly trained staff break a kids arms in a reckless "restraint". My Bible was thrown into the toilet and and I was beat daily. If you didn't want to go to breakfast or a group activity they would drag you by your hair. Before they transferred over to harbor point, they were once Portsmouth psychiatric children center. They tried withholding water children there had to beg for water. Harbor point is not children's psychiatric center at Portsmouth Virginia but somehow they are affiliated with them... And the staff there when I was there for a 30-day evaluation... This place sucks tbh I was there from July 15th until February 17th the entire time I was there nothing ever changed I did have the best program manager tho love you ms Chloe ❤️ and had the best staff ms monie 🫶🏼 mr Aaron was the best gym teacher and there were some other good staff but I dont have time to list all the names I hated this place but I can't lie I did grow from there not with the help of many staff but with the help of ms monie ms Chloe and mr Aaron they were always an open ear and i never felt the need to be... read more
Horrible customer service, does not live up to what they claim online. Shut this place down and build something better
