My daughter was forcibly held down by 3 men to draw her blood from her wrist. (She was 9 now 16 and has yet to get over her phobia of needles.) Her room mate had both arms pulled out of socket when put in a "Safety" hold. The staff took her blankets and comfort items away as punishment even thought it was against the regulations. The list goes on and on. The moment she turned 11 she went to a Real facility and returned home within months. She hasnt had to return but still has therapy for the trauma she endured.

I was admitted to this place in 2003 when it was called the The Pines. I was there for 3 years. It changed my life & made the wonder person I am today. I had hard times there & after but it taught how to fight, not physically but mentally & push through hard times. 20 years later.. I live happy healthy stable life. I still have my best friend that I met in that very place. lol. I want them kids to know hard times make championships & this will be the beautiful part of their testimonies. My daughter was admitted to Harbor Point in May 2026. During her short time here (17 days) she was forced to filter between two sets of their clothing for 5 days straight without getting to wash her clothing. She wa supposed to be on precaution for 7 days. Despite not having any issues, she was kept on precaution and unable to received her personal items until 3 days before I picked her up. DO NOT SEND YOUR KIDS HERE. I was in and out of this facility from 2020 to 2022. It was one of the most traumatic experiences I've had. Staff would laugh as kids fought, me and others were sprayed in the face with lysol for entertainment. I watched a poorly trained staff break a kids arms in a reckless "restraint". My Bible was thrown into the toilet and and I was beat daily. If you didn't want to go to breakfast or a group activity they would drag you by your hair.
