My granddaughter is there and has been jump on last night June 6 when my granddaughter called me I could not talk to her for some girl in there fussing being loud telling her to get off the phone hitting her in the head alot wow my ain't something been done about this when my granddaughter calls me that's our quality time not some kid getting in our conversation its mess up
I would rate 0 if I could but I just need all parents to see this!! I was 14 when I was sent here and in foster care, I had previous placements in different foster homes, residential facilities, and psychiatric hospitals, HOWEVER this place was God awful to me. Kids fist fought constantly, even the staff fought the children. There is no structure here whatsoever because they just higher anyone and the “higher ups” don’t even care to come say hello. Hello I am a former client of Harbor Point Behavioral Health located in former PRTI Unit. I remember being physically abused as the restraining methods used were highly unconstitutional. The only staff who were nice was Ms. Pam/Mr Harold/Mr Littlejohn other then that staff there were horrible, food was trash, the kitchen was disgusting, barely got out of the unit at all, now I am absolutely disgusted by the reviews posted on google regarding the discontinuation of Harbor Point, I hope you get shut down and loose your jobs I ... read more
At the age of 15, I had the opportunity to be at Harbor Point, where I encountered significant challenges that hindered my learning experience. The staff exhibited behavior that was concerning; they often resorted to physical restraint when a child failed to comply with directives. Furthermore, staff members made inappropriate and aggressive remarks towards children without facing any repercussions.
