I needed my AC unit replaced. I got a quote for $6000.00 before I remembered that I had a home warranty. The home warranty company contracted Harbor Heating & Cooling for the work. My house is old and I needed duct work and a new condenser. This is some national company that sends out "subs" to do the work. Repairman came to house for ***** ******** **** ******** work at 9:30am ET yesterday; in 1/2 hours said it was working replaced capacitor; 4 hours later @ 1:30pm ET unit not working, SAME PROBLEM. It appears there is actually something else wrong and the repairman did not fix it, so it keeps blowing up capacitors. Honestly. I don't think they deserve 1 star. Came out twice because our air conditioning unit doesn't seem to be keeping the house cool. Says we need to run it 24-7 and live in the dark to keep the house cool. We even tried it his way and it still got up to 80 degrees in the house during the day with the air running full time set at 72. Electric bill is going to be through the roof, running the fans and living in the dark and it still doesn't keep the house cool.
