I went today with my bf. We both were Mickey's clients. He did a wonderful job of explaining everything he was doing. So much that it took over 2hrs! We had a babysitter mix up and he graciously took us even though we were late. He was extremely friendly and full of wisdom. Its not fancy place but it is clean, cozy and they absolutely care about there clients. I would take that over fancy and quick any day:) He even throws in some humor. We loved him! I'd love to be able to give a bad review so it'd be easier for me to get in to see Kim. I've always had a great experience and have had someone who cares about the long term as well as short term happiness and wellness of her clients.

I like this place a lot, she takes her time and does my nails right every time. I go to the mall if it's spontaneous but they go so fast they don't pay much attention. I used to go to Nail Designs but it's so painful there every time I go. I'm surprised the other reviewer had a bad experience, but yeah you do need cash. Not a big surprise being a small nail operation (which is in the Promenade mall on 13th Ave now)

I used to go to Fancy nails, but that was bought out and now is Happy nails....When I first walked in, the first thing I asked was if they took checks or credit cards because I had no cash on me. They said that they didn't but I could go to an ATM AFTER I get my nails done, which I thought was kind of odd. So the lady starts doing my nails and comments on how dry my cuticles are.
