I attended this clinic in October 2024 for an ADHD assessment for my 7-year-old son. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely distressing for both of us. Throughout the appointment, I felt dismissed and blamed, and I left in tears with my son also very upset. Have seen Dr Lakshinie over the past 6 months to assess our child for ASD and ADHD. Generally it's been a positive experience: we found her to be kind, gentle and patient with our son, and she's been helpful in completing documentation for NDIS. We found the diagnosis process fairly comprehensive and we're satisfied with the outcome. My only small issue is that in order to have my son assessed, we were passed on to the psychologist affiliated with the clinic and not given other (more affordable and competitive) options. We actually had a really good experience here. Dr G took a long time to go over my son's history. She was able to see a simple problem that had been overlooked. I feel like some of the other reviews on here are tainted by cultural intolerance or plain racism. I've seen huge improvement in my son since Dr G reviewed his medication. I found her to be incredibly supportive, caring and thorough.

Finally writing a review after our experience. In February, we came here and the doctor prescribed my son Ritalin. We later shifted to Ritalin LA 60mg. She knew there was a shortage and specifically told me that if we ever had issues getting the medication, to call and she would “fix up the prescription.” She diagnosed him, understood the situation, and reassured me.
