I went out on a charter which was not the cheapest I’ve ever taken for such a short trip but I heard the bite is good. The first thing I noticed was the captain Chris seemed like he was drunk. Once we got fishing I noticed the deckhands allowing people to keep undersized fish which I was in complete and utter shock!!! On our way back I used the restroom after a deckhand and noticed he left a needle after shooting dope. Had a good time last time I went out, 5 stars for sure! Live bait, great Phenix rods, great customer service, deckhand was friendly, and knowledgeable. Captain put us on some nice fish, can’t wait to go again!

An excellent boat, two excellent skippers with tremendous knowledge of the Bay and coastal waters, and a great deckhand. If you want a trip to remember, this is the boat. They’ll put you on the fish, and send you home smiling. Chris has been fishing these waters for decades and the whole Smith family has a reputation that can’t be topped. Now the live bait is here, and it’s time to nail some stripers and halibut!
