We've been customers of The Happy Beast for several years. Natalie and crew are super knowledgable, and have helped us with numerous dietary issues with our cat and dogs. If I could give more than 5 stars I would! :)
If I could give more stars I absolutely would! Chelsea and Natalie are incredibly knowledgeable in pet nutrition. I usually pop in with random questions and they always have a solution or an answer for me. The products carried have been vetted so you can be confident the ingredients uphold excellence in quality. The regularly have adoption events, I think on Saturdays. Super proud to have The Happy Beast in our neighborhood. Highly recommend.
Love Love this store!! It’s not huge but it has the best of the best!! Love the treats, leashes, beds, etc! If they don’t have what you’re looking for they’ll order it or let you know where you can get it. :-) If you let them know by Wednesday/Thursday you’ll usually get it by Friday. Special ordered a bed and it took about a week but I got to pick out the fabric and color and my pup loves it!! The ladies are very knowledgeable! This is my first pup and they have helped my out a lot!!
This place is the best. Huge selection of raw food and treats for my geriatric dog. They also have a ton of leashes, bowls, beds, toys, etc with an emphasis on CO products. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable, always get prompt service even when they are slammed. ANNNNND they have adoption events and keep a few foster cats. Great store that supports the local economy and your favorite furball.
Could not live without this shop. The humans in our family love it as much as the animals do!
We adopted a wonderful cat from The Happy Beast. The staff are such nice people who really care about animals. We buy all of our cat food there.
I love The Happy Beast. Wonderful helpful staff, healthy species-appropriate food and I love to visit the shop cats and dogs ❤️They support local rescues and adoption events, and do some fostering, too. We should all support our exceptional local businesses!

The Happy Beast is one of my favorite stores in Lafayette. The staff is extremely knowledgeable about their products and really care about each individual customer. I am pretty sure they know every one of their customers by name! I enjoy going to the store every week to buy my cat food, toys, treats, and supplies.
