What can I say? I love Happi House. My father introduced it to me as a teenager in 1977 and I've been a "happi" customer ever since! The food is very tasty and always fresh. No soggy tempura here. It is fresh cooked, crispy and piping hot when you get it. It's unfortunate they closed so many of their other restaurants. There's only two left now. To the owner, you need to re-do the whole menu with 100% better and authentic HAPPI FOOD, the name of the restaurant is way far from what it’s said on google. Frozen non flavored teriyaki food, too many onions are used for tempura veggies, the teriyaki chicken bowl, has frozen vegetables, and chopped onions, sorry, came a long drive for a waste of food and money. Don’t recommend eating here at all.

There’s only two of these left and been coming here since they had the 2 for 1 deals in the news paper and would frequent the Almaden location before it closed. This please is a treasure in San Jose and always worth a visit!
