Everything about this quirky establishment was great! Our server, Dawn, was pure southern hospitality. The food was delicious!

This is a wonderful restaurant! We'd been traveling and figured we'd have fast food until we saw the reviews for Happenings on Elm and realized it wasn't far from our hotel. What a pleasant surprise! The owner and staff were so nice and the food was outstanding. My husband got the lasagna and I got the burger with brie and fig jam -- the sweet tea is also worth noting. It was a truly enjoyable experience.
We stopped for lunch on a road trip, looking for something that wasn’t fried or fast food. We tried the pork sliders with cream cheese and pepper jelly and the grilled chicken sandwich with avocado and sriracha mayo. Delicious, and we’re marking the map in case we come through this way again.
