Horrible experience with getting trifocal cataract surgery: First, Dr. Hanzlik will only give you time when he's trying sell you the more expensive eye surgery. Right before surgery my husband and I had questions. He was 20 minutes late, and he was annoyed with us when we tried to ask questions. Then he rushed off from us. Second, Dr. Hanzlik is not a good surgeon. My husband's intermediate vision is blurry. Dr. Hanzlik said there aren't really problems with the trifocal lens. To make a long story short, this office wasted hours of my time. They told me Dr. Santiago offered hard contact lenses (Dr. Hanzlik doesn't) so I spent time on the phone with my insurance company and primary care physician getting a referral and then took time off work for my appointment. When I arrived at the office for my appointment, they told me they didn't do hard contact lenses! They didn't bother calling me beforehand to let me know, they just handed me a paper with the names of two other eye doctors who apparently do... read more
