He has a very closed mind and pretends to care. I told him in what I thought was a safe space that I like to chant in private and I think it helps me move energy. He could not understand and claimed I was psychotic. Do not waste your time; he only pretends to care

As a person in the psychiatric field, one is hesitant to seek their own help. Dr Hanson would be the psychiatrist's psychiatrist, he is very kind, professional and actually listens which is a rarity in psychiatry today. He has literally saved my life. He took the time to find a combination of medication that worked for me and exclusively me. He does not take a cookie cutter approach he views people as individuals as rightly we all should.
Dr. Hanson was patient, really listened to me and my concerns, allowed me to be 100% honest, and never got frustrated with me for being hesitant about side effects of meds he would recommend. He was very supportive of my way of thinking and I never felt forced into a specific medication or treatment. With his help, I’ve been able to minimize my anxiety and completely eliminate panic attacks. The only reason I stopped seeing him is because I had to move out of state. I would highly recommend him as a provider!
Shook. At least I finally got an Rx after 53 years....slim progress i would say. I'll say more once I see all the invoices roll in for the lagniappe care. The best was the threat of psych ward institutionalization with pull off of meds should I not follow his expert professional opinion. Which was rest and his meds. The meds were easy once I removed the steroid, the decongestant, the caffeine and the sativa to try tk calm my brain from being sick and ptsd travel that was ignored. 15 hours in houston.
