Dr Hanson I met for the first time last summer after a ladder gave out dropping me 10ft onto my left foot and ankle, not knowing what to expect after reading some reviews but quickly found out that this Dr was very experienced and cared very much to get me back to a normal routine. My first visit I had to wait one hour before getting in to see the doctor. The dark haired receptionist was very rude. On my follow up visit, after driving almost an hour to get there, the rude receptionist told me Dr. Hanson wasn't in that day. She waited until the last minute to call me. I was already on the road and didn't hear my phone ring in the car. I'm not sure if Dr. Hanson is a good doctor, I refuse to deal with the beetch receptionist. I asked for a referral to another doctor and they wouldn't give me one.

Had neck fusion 21yrs ago by orthopedic surgeon in Springs. February 2020 began having neck pain doctor in Springs retired so had X-ray by neurosurgeon said nothing wrong. Pain continued getting worst finally in July I started making calls to orthopedic doctors in Pueblo I couldn’t believe I was being told they didn’t do necks after 9 calls I was about to give up and search Springs when my pharmacist recommended Dr Hanson when I called was surprised they made appointment to see Dr. Hanson 3 days later. Dr. Hanson seems to be a good doctor but his clinic leaves something to be desired. The office assistant always gets us into a room at our appointment time but then we invariably have to wait 45 minutes or so before a doctor’s assistant comes in, asks a few questions and then leaves. Then another 45 minute wait before Dr. Hanson finally comes in. This is not an isolated incident. It’s happened each of four or five appointments.

Had a follow up appt. With amanda for a follow up appt. For my MRI as well as my Bladder condition with the new medication that was given. I called them and said hi when is my appt. And she says oh yeah I was going to call you any ways to remind you! So I confirmed the appt with whom ever answered the phone. I have been homeless for about a month or living in a tent in la veta. So I drove an hour 20 min to my appt for them to say ur not on the schedule! So I told them the same story...

Dr. Hanson went out of his way to start my healing late on a Sunday afternoon, I appreciate being able to get in to see him without having an appointment. They are open every day, and have an x-ray machine on the premises.

This man obviously cares about people and wants to make them better by fixing their orthopedic issues. He has repaired my fractured wrist, and now a ruptured achilles tendon. He is careful, knowledgeable, and trustworthy...everything you want in a surgeon. I would recommend him to my family and friends

I would definitely recommend Dr. Hanson to family or friends. I was injured at work and had to have a total knee replacement. Dr. Hanson (with x-rays) explained to me why this specific surgery was necessary. He explained the procedure very thoroughly, both verbally and with diagrams.
