I most certainly agree with the comments made by SWFL Reports. If you're looking for a Dr. to do an evaluation and testify to the court, my suggestion is to find another Dr. I'm in the middle of a custody battle and was ordered to have an evaluation done with Dr. Hansen Cohen for PTSD. During this time something happened within my family that caused a trigger for me. I emailed Ms. Hansen Cohen about the situation. I did not get a response. Instead, she sent a letter to the court stating that I sent her a "barrage of emails."... read more

A huge disgrace in the system, as many. Dr. Hansen has a Passive Aggressive behavior and demeaning way of talking with her clientele. She also has a presumptuous behavior and in many instances asks a questions and also answers the question. Her experience and expertise is surely not the best. I feel that she is not trained enough when dealing with DV cases. Her judgement is very poor and inaccurate. I would not trust her with your case at all. Also the good reviews are from her friends. Do yourself a favor and hire somebody else for your family needs. All parties involved, including the courts, will thank you for that. I do not recommend her!
