Such wonderful service. I special ordered a Musafia through them and must have asked a hundred different questions. Ellen was so patient with me and helped me pick out exactly which case and features would meet my needs (and wants). The case arrived yesterday and is gorgeous. It's so much more beautiful in person than any of the pictures showed, I'm thrilled.
Recently I bought a very fine Cremona violin from Hans Weisshaar. Georg's patience with me was phenomenal! He is extremely knowledgeable and polite. One of the very best in the business. But be warned - those very fine Cremona violins are outrageously addictive. Owning one is dangerous - because all you want to do is to play it continuously day and night.
Hans Weisshaar recently planed my fingerboard in addition to replacing my bridge. The work was done in the amount of time expected, and a very nice job was done. Georg, the owner, was extremely gracious and helpful.
Caution: when getting a bow rehaired, you have to ask to have them clean the stick... for an additional fee. Take nothing for granted at this establishment.
I recently purchased a violin from Hans Weisshaar. Georg was extremely helpful, and very accommodating since I had to make a bit of a drive every time I went to the shop. He was also very knowledgeable and had an excellent grasp of his inventory. In fact, after telling him what I was looking for, it was one of his suggestions that I ended up buying. Ultimate service and professionalism in combination with genuine friendliness makes for a very good impression of Hans Weisshar. Georg was very kind to allow us to try various violins (very time consuming) and it was an interesting educational experience, too. Memorable visit to a wonderful shop.
