I highly recommend Jay. I didnt realize how much tension and stress I was holding in my jaw. He gave me tools to help me stay mindful and not be too hard on myself. I went to Jay, as during a Google search for TMJ he’s one of the first to pop up, I found him to be kind of rude, also during a dry needling session he brought two dogs into the room and put them into a kennel where he then did dry needling on me. I didn’t particularly like that, it felt wrong. Considering you’re puncturing the skin. Also, I am allergic to dogs, cats and really anything with fur, it can trigger an Asthma attack. I’m writing this very positive review of hANS TMJ / Jay Schaefer so people suffering with TMJ disorders can get some hope that they can resolve their issues! I can't say enough good things about Jay. My tension has been causing severe tinnitus that recently began to interfere with my life to the degree that I began to struggle with suicidal ideations. None of my existing MD's could solve or even vaguely help the problem.
