I have dealt with debilitating migraines for many years. I have seen multiple doctors, neurologists and gotten scans all to only have more medication thrown at me. I have now gone without migraine medication for over 3 weeks and finally understand my pain. This was hands down one of the best decisions I could have made for myself. If I could give more stars I would.
Jay at TMJ & Headache Institute is the real deal. I experienced noticeable relief immediately after my first treatment, which was amazing after dealing with ongoing TMJ issues and headaches. What impressed me most was Jay’s knowledge. He understands this stuff at a level that’s both reassuring and little scary. You can tell he has a tremendous amount of experience and genuinely wants to help people feel better. If you’re struggling with TMJ pain, I highly recommend giving him a call.
I came to see Jay after having a very stiff jaw and not getting any help from my GP. Through seven sessions, I received dry needling, adjustments, and information on how to correct my oral habits so that I could maintain the progress we were making. Jay was great at explaining the muscles of my face, how my habits were affecting my jaw, neck, and shoulders. I am so grateful for the progress we made and the ways in which I learned to take care of myself!
Jay did a wonderful job communicating what I had going on and made actual attempts to learn some of my day to day life to help find ways I could better handle some of my issues for the long run, and after a few visits I had begun to see real results With my tmjd as well as some posture related issues.
