Step back in time There is little better in life than Han's Bakery. They have an amazing cream filled donut that is to die for. You have to get there early, otherwise they sell out mid morning. Very Dreamy!
The best wedding cake I had my daughters wedding cake made here and it was the most wonderful cake....so moist and flavorful..Number one in our fams and friends book
None Finer I have searched bakeries throughout the Minneapolis area and have yet to find one that meets or exceeds the quality and flavor of this establishment. They are famous for their beehive as well as bear claws. Everything here is just "yummy".
Sad Sandi without Beehives. I didn't get to visit Hans bakery very often, because I live up north aways. The beehives and caramel rolls are to die for. I went there today, 4/8/11 and found that Hans is closed and the property is for sale. I will always miss and reminisce fondly about the wonderful, yet fattening pastry products they produced. It was worth the calories. I miss you Hans, and always will!! Not sure when this happened maybe it is old news for Anoka residents.
Tasty I grew up going to school next door to Han's bakery at Fred Moore Jr. High. I have fond memories of sneaking over after school to enjoy a tasty treat.
Need a Beehive You need to go and get a beehive at this bakery. It is amazing. This is one of those last few bakeries in the Twin Cities that survived the health food phenomenon. We all need a pastry now and then and what a special treat to bring to someone's home for a brunch. Do find this hidden treasure and maybe even sit for a second to enjoy a treat on the spot.
