Hanover Weymouth is, without exaggeration, one of the worst living experiences I’ve ever had, and I would strongly urge anyone considering it to think twice. Living here has been incredibly frustrating. Noise is constant because of poor construction. You can hear everything from surrounding units, and there is no real sense of quiet or privacy. Cigarette and marijuana smell regularly enters the apartment and has not been properly addressed. The building also fails on basic functionality. Tenants are required to pay for WiFi that does not work well, the trash chute is frequently unavailable, and the grounds are never maintained with trash in common areas. Hanover Weymouth is one of the most unsafe places I have ever lived. What is advertised as a luxury community is actually chaotic, neglected, and genuinely concerning from a safety standpoint. Residents were never informed about a major drug and weapons bust that took place right on the property at 1335 Washington Street. I rarely leave reviews, but this experience has been so unacceptable that I feel a responsibility to be completely honest for anyone considering living here. The most serious issue is safety. There has been repeated police activity in and around the property, including a fentanyl-related bust that was never communicated to residents.
