was a patient of Dr Guo who I loved. He was amazing. When he left I became a patient of Dr Kane. I am a UPMC employee myself, and LPN of 22 years. I did not have a very good visit with Dr Kane. I left the office pretty upset. He then refused the refill on my medication that I have been on for a few years. I will not be going back to this office. I will be finding a new Urologist. If you have chronic reoccurring issues he is not the doctor.
Thank you Dr. Guo for removing my kidney stone and not letting me suffer any longer...I was already mourning the recent loss of my husband. Dr. Leventhal was going to make me wait another 4 weeks to remove the kidney stone.

I would say Dr. Kane has a poor attitude when he is on call... when another patient calls that needs help, they shouldn't be told "well you don't have an enlarged prostrate, " well that would be because I'm a woman... and they should not be told I can't help you over the phone, go to the er if you think it's that bad, and really if it can wait till Monday, just call the other doctor.
