What a horrible company. I've been paying them for multiple policies for about a decade. The FIRST time I had an issue with my coverage, I called to voice my concern and tried to get the policy changed/updated. Four calls, three emails, over 8 total hours on the phone.....each and every time, I was promised a call from a Supervisor to address my concerns. I never got a call. They used to be great and I'm not sure what happened. Had a roof claim at the beginning of the year and felt like I was tricked to "get an estimate" for repair--despite contractors advising a complete replacement--I provided the estimate (which included a statement advising against it) to Hanover Adjuster. They then tried to decline the claim stating the contractors showed that a repair could be made instead of the advised replacement. The adjusters bounced me around (back and forth between Michael and Jodee) and wouldn't do their jobs until I called their manager. If you are the victim of one of their drivers, you will need to call them daily and get their manager involved if you want any results.

Hanover has consistently raised my premium year after year and are now using the practice of passing on credit card fees to the policy holder. This is absolutely greedy behavior from a nationwide company that should be eating the fee as a cost of doing business. I will be looking for a new provider once my policy is up.
