History Established in 1992. Hanover Animal Hospital opened in September 1992 in the Hanover Commons Shopping Center in Mechanicsville, Va. by Dr. John Billeter and his wife Janet. The practice moved one half mile north to Crown Colony Parkway in May of 2001 and continues to offer care for small animal family members with honesty, integrity and professionalism.

We have been going to Dr. Billeter since 1992. He is an outstanding vet with an extraordinary staff. We also love Dr Tyson and Dr. Bartels. You and your pets are treated like family. They care so much and make you feel at ease to have your pets cared by them. I have recommended this group to so many people who have also been very pleased. Stephanie Chalkley
We have taken our pets to dr Billiter since he opened a store front practice in the strip mall until today. I called for a sick appointment for our 10 month. Nothing until Friday. Not the way service used to be and certainly the tone kelly had on the phone means they might just have too much business
Extremely bright, inquisitive, and experienced veterinarians who are also compassionate and understanding about the physical and emotional needs of the animals in front of them. (Both the four legged and two legged variety). We have had a number of animals over the years but these are the finest vets that we have ever encountered. Their office staff is well trained, professional, and kind.
