My boyfriend and I recently signed a lease with Hanover Alewife. The complex built last year (2017) is stunning. Every apartment feels like a home by Hanover's thoughtful design (for example, there is a built-in desk unit in most of the floor plans we viewed, which is great for kids doing homework or if you work from home.) Nice new complex but very sterile and oriented to promote itself over residents needs. The common facilities play loud music all day so if you want to do any work using the space you can only do it before 9 am or late in the evening. The other downside is the lack of roads in the area so traffic in the rush hour is back up. But the place is closed to T. Also, no restaurants or coffee shops close by.
