Had a door handle come off and because I generally go to Hanks thought I'd ask if it was something they could fix . Without looking at the door they gave me a price of $98 for a new handle and at least an hour of labour at $155. Instead, went to Carleton Collision. After ordering a small part for the handle and 15 minutes labour I had my door handle repaired for $54.
Great mechanics and always willing to go the extra mile to figure out the issue with my vehicles! Eric is an excellent mechanic and he will be missed at this location! Shop is losing a quality mechanic. Sorry to see you leave
Took a flat truck tire to them Friday afternoon. They put a new tube in it. The stem was not centered and came out crooked. I took it back Saturdy at 800. They were closed. Took it back Monday at 800. They wanted me to leave it. A technition finaly took it in and brought it back out shortly, said that was the best they could do. Good rim, almost new tire, and a new tube and the stem still coming out crooked was the best they could do??? uneven pressure on the sides of the stem will undoubtedly cut the stem..Quite a concern..... read more
