Worst hot wings I’ve ever had. Zero seasoning, soggy fries. Also first restaurant I know that won’t let a paying customer buy oysters to-go. Extremely expensive for trashy food. First time going to Hank's with my wife and aunt. The food I give an 8 and the atmosphere was good. We did get a weird vibe from the owner as he walked around and greeted everyone but us. Not sure what that was about as he turned around when he saw us sitting.
The staff were not friendly, service was awful, my oysters were loaded with the topping to hide the fact that the oyster was tiny as beach sand. Over priced to say the least.i could barely even see the oysters honestly, in the shells. I had to send my drink back twice, the coke and sprite were flat ! I ended up trying out the sweet tea it was okay. SMH, to say the least last night was a waste of time and money 9/24/26
BE AWARE!! The food was great, and the atmosphere was relaxing and enjoyable. Unfortunately, I’m giving the restaurant three stars because of how the gratuity is handled. The servers do not automatically show you an itemized bill or clearly explain that a tip has already been included. Instead, they present the payment machine with additional tipping options of 18%, 20%, 25%, and so on.
