RecommendedHank’s was my last meal on my first trip to Charleston. My prior dining experiences had set the bar considerably high. Hank’s cleared it easily and raised it a couple more notches. Courteous and knowledgable waiter (Ellison?, iirc). Delicious soup to start (sweet potato bisque with lump crab meat). There were six of us Saturday night at Hank’s, they were able to seat us 15 min early Our food came very fast and all of us cleaned our plates. The food was perfect from the shrimp and grits to the grouper and steak. The collard greens, fried green tomatoes and fried chicken. All perfect!
