Skeeter has done an amazing job keeping Live Music in Texas. Walking thru those swinging doors makes my heart and soul smile. BYOB, Never a COVER Charge, Smoking Permitted GREAT MUSIC , friendly folks. Life is good. Thank you Skeeter and staff and everyone who comes out to the Hangin Tree Saloon.

Best Honky Tonk in SA area! Great people....always feels like family. The owner, Skeeter is a long time family friend. Always a great time!
This is my watering hole so I may be biased but the bar and the people are as authentic and genuine pleasant as any old time Saloon you can visit.
Haven't been there but a few times since I moved to LaVernia, (too long a drive these days, uh, nights) but when I was still in San Antonio, I liked to go there.
Great drinks and great time anytime and always great bands.
