UPDATE: Hanger reached out and helped me offset some of the costs. While I would have appreciated in-office handling of this, I appreciate their prompt ownership and action to this online feedback. As a general caution, I would still encourage anyone with year-end needs to account for significant lead times. I've been using Hanger Orthodics for about 15yrs. Jennifer Marchel the LCPO that treats me is the best . Jennifer goes above and beyond. She will explain my diagnosis to me in a way that I can understand what I need to do. She is a master communicator . She will print out instructions for me on what to do at home . Despite starting my order in November, they didn’t complete my order until January, and were unwilling to run the order under last year’s insurance (when my deductible was met). Because of this, I had to pay 10x what I planned to pay. This is made worse by the fact that I had REPEATEDLY attempted to make contact with their office to schedule my fitting, and could not get through (sometimes calling as many as 4x a day on multiple days). I had a wonderfull experience. Everyone was very nice. Adriana was helpful with my appointment and helping with my rides. Matt was nice and did a great jon with my leg.
