I had an achilles repair and needed a brace to replace my cast in a timely fashion so the healing could progress. My ortho sent in a referral for the brace I needed. When I got to Hanger Clinic they give me the wrong boot and insisted my doctor said i had an ankle sprain instead of achilles rupture. Keep in mind I literally heard my doctor call in and tell them it was achilles, but they tried to cover their incompetence by blaming him. So I think “it’s alright people make mistakes” and move on.
