STAY FAR AWAY from HANGER PROSTHETICS...losers billed out 5.4 billion dollars last year...they denied me prosthetic leg service...because the didn't like me...unethical....they are buying businesses all over the United states....LOSERS...STAY FAR AWAY
Tldr: Someone there made a mistake, told me they had done something they hadn't, and now I am on the hook for a large bill for their mistake. My son needed an orthopedic device so we made a consultation and they said they would verify it was covered by my insurance. They called back and said it was covered, and I asked if they had filed the preauthorization and they said they had and it was improved. Took a day off from work so that I could make a a previously scheduled appointment. Arrived at the office 15 minutes early. There was absolutely no one there. No signage advising of any closure or delay.Waited an additional 20 minutes in the parking lot ,called and left messages ,no response. Never received a courtesy phone call prior to the appointment advising of an office closure for that day. Very unprofessional and totally unacceptable.
