I am a 100% permanent and total disabled veteran and attended this VA scheduled appointment on May 14th. To attend, I drove 92 miles (2hrs) round trip from Leoma\Five Points. When I arrived I explained how extremely far out of my way the office is and asked that the finished orthotics be mailed to me. At first they were reluctant and asked that I contact the VA to get approval. VA responded quickly and agreed in email and even offer to pay for the shipping on 5/14 with their Mr Moore cc’d as Mr Moore requested to be cc’d. Th... read more

The people are pleasant; we are dealing with health insurance and Medicare. Lots of hoops to jump through, especially with Medicare. Finally got the paperwork done, and Richard told us it isn't enough, because we haven't provided "need" to replace a brace less than 5 years, per Medicare rules. Our doctor is concerned about recurring blisters on the 'knuckles' below the toes, where the edge of the current "brace/boot" ends, but Richard is more concerned about the rocker bottom on the right foot, which has been stable for seve... read more
