Staff at the Duluth, MN clinic are great!! From the front desk/patient care coordinators to Kevin Kuno, Certified Pedorthist. I have had an extremely sore foot for 6 years, had many X-rays, no MRI, PCP doctor would not order as X-rays shows nothing wrong. Finally sent me to a podiatrist after begging. My PCP is normally good and been with him for 25 years, might be time to change! Podiatrist referred me to Hanger and I was bless with Kevin Kuno! They must not be open anymore. I called several times today with no answer
6 wide at hangar was not as wide as my 4 wide I went in there with. I don't need a larger number I need a wider shoe. Second try, no shoes yet, going on three. Tortoise and the Hair has way wider shoes available but no custom inserts. Hangar won't just let me have the inserts unless I get a shoe to fit. So my feet are hurting big and for too long while Hangar once again attempts to get another shoe that won't near fit. UPDATED AFTER BAD BILLING SITUATION: read if you’re low income My orthotists have always been amazing here, like - actually beyond amazing, but billing has just always been a headache. They really went above and beyond after an error with either the fact that they have two different payment CRM’s that don’t talk to one another or human error but I had been on a payment plant for my two ankle foot orthosis, had called and paid it off, and somehow money was still removed from my account. Amazing medical staff: HORRENDOUS BILLING DEPARTMENT **avoid at all costs if you are poor/low income** My orthotists have always been amazing here, like - actually beyond amazing, but the support and admin staff have been a really giant let down.
