Well apparently Staff has changed.When i first read reviews I did not want to go here. Since there were no other places close enough to go to because I checked extensively I had no other choice. I was very pleasantly surprised. Both Receptionist that I had contact with were vere polite. And Colin, who does the fitting was the nicest, efficient guy. Thank you Hangar for your help!!
Lack of customer care and service. It takes way to long to even get an appointment let alone any delivery of a decent prosthetic. I’ve been trying to get a new socket for months and while waiting I’ve been stuck in a wheelchair because what I have now is like walking on a medieval torture device. Turnover of prosthetists is constant here so that there’s no continuity of care. Travel further if you want something and someone that actually works with you so that you can walk again without pain and discomfort.
Was sent there for a brace due to my leg giving out after spine surgery. Explained this to Orthotist. Brace arrived quickly. After the orthotist put the brace on my leg, I asked if it was going to prevent my leg from giving out. He replied “No. It’s not that type of brace”?? After falling face first several times and injuring myself, I ended up doing my own research and determined that the brace I have CAN be an ROM brace, which is what I need.
