We are from a place where there are no basements, so when we moved to Denver we moved into a basement setting with my daughter's family. Both bedrooms in the basement had to have window well windows, which is the law, and we put in the window wells with grates when we remodeled the basement for our use. We didn't even know they could but covers on the window wells, that's how naive we were. I had new well covers installed on 6/25/20. The technician arrived at the scheduled time we agreed upon. He did a great job! Upon completion, I went out to inspect the covers. They look great (frosted covers with clamps & each withstands 800 lbs)! The technician showed me how to open and close the covers (very simple and easy). I highly recommend this company for window well covers!
