I hired Yacoub to remove a super greasy-decades-old range hood and replace with a new one. The whole process was painless. He picked up all my calls quickly, offered to research, buy and bring the new range hood, so I don’t have to wait for the new hood to come before I can call him back. Yaqoub was so helpful and kind helping us move into a new apartment! He assembled multiple pieces of furniture and installed technology on short notice in a timely manner. He was very responsive and reliable; highly recommend!
While Yacoub was on time and finished all tasks, I am unfortunately disappointed by the end result. There was a lack of attention to detail for things like ensuring artwork was level (should use a leveler or laser level and not just measure from the ceiling) and that curtain rods don't intersect in corners (ended up with unsightly extra drilled holes). These were both things I had to prompt him on during and also fix after the fact, in addition to fixing a shelf he knocked off the wall while working. If I'm hiring a professi... read more
