Not a good experience with this company. A couple of years ago I investigated sending an acoustic guitar from Anchorage to Boston that only really had a cheap case. The quotes were outrageous (started at over $200 for the slowest speed available) and I think I ended up just getting it packed and bringing it as a carry on. The packing job was cheap... just threw it in a box with bubble wrap and packing peanuts. Everything went so smooth! All involved were super friendly and patient. Would definitely use again.
Been going here for years because they've got the best selection. But the service has been slipping. Today I walked in and ... nobody there. Not the first time this has happened. No bell on the door to let them know someone opened it. No bell on the counter to ring for service. I hung around waiting - could hear kids playing in the background, but no adults. Nobody showed up. So I left.
My out of state move was seamless from start to finish thanks to The Packaging Store! They safely packaged my furniture and household goods, and my items arrived quickly and in perfect condition! The staff was extremely helpful, and no detail was overlooked. Highly recommend!
