First of all, I loved the food. The lunch buffet had a lot of vegetarian options, and the price is reasonable. However, one of my friends cannot eat spicy food due to stomach issues. She tried the buffet and found the food too spicy. (She has had Indian food before and enjoys the place off Woodruff rd). She decided to order off the menu, and asked for her dish with no spice. RecommendedVisiting from Maryland and stopped in downtown Greenville for some lunch before heading to Clemson. The restaurant is nestled in beautiful downtown Greenville. I'm an Indian cuisine snob and Handi's food was absolutely delicious! The staff was kind and attentive. The restaurant embraces the charm of the old building while putting their cultural touch inside. Would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area!
