We’re visiting from out of state, looking forward to some Thrifty ice cream and I was shocked to find out they had just gone bankrupt and closed a couple weeks before our trip. I had no idea! So many flavors to try! This ice cream is amazing! The staff are great and let you try as many flavors as you’d like. I highly recommend this place.
Took the kids for a sweet treat after dinner and this place definitely didn't disappoint. Its right next to the mall, and easy time finding parking. I ordered the smallest cone they had, expecting a single scoop but they loaded it up. More than I wanted, but can't complain if you get more than you expected. Their ice cream is delicious and there are so many flavors to choose from! The "small" is huge and the prices are very fair. The Temecula location is my favorite because it has lots of seating (indoors and outdoors) and it has restrooms. All of the other Handel's I have visited are set up for customers to order outside at a window and do not have patron restrooms.
