I usually have a great experience at Handel’s in Elk Grove, which is why tonight’s visit was so disappointing. I came in on September 8, 2026, shortly before closing, around 9:55 PM. The ice cream was very good as always, but unfortunately, the customer service was horrible. I was the last transaction of the night, and the employee who helped me was noticeably rude and made me feel as though she was upset with me simply for ordering while the store was still open.
